Tree Time

This year we tried to go on a little adventure....there was a tree farm in Philomath that I found online that had a sleigh ride out to the trees, a castle with snow, a tree maze, bon fire and more. We thought that sounded pretty cool so the day after Thanksgiving we headed out to get our tree.....well, let's just say it wasn't as good as we thought! We took a couple of pictures in the field then got out of there as fast as we could. After driving to several places, we ended up getting our tree in the parking lot of WinCo...which is only about 1/2 mile from our house! When we got home with the tree, Joel and I had a heck of a time getting it to stand up. Apparently we had too big of a tree strand......who knew? So after a very long time of doing it over and over I went to the store and bought a smaller stand...whew! What a day....but all-in-all we had a good time just being together. While it may not have been the adventure we anticipated, we still have some good memories. Oh and I love this one of Kennedy decorating the tree naked....if you come over to our house, chances are you'll see one or both of our little one's naked. Don't know why....I dress them over and over all day long and somehow, some way, the clothes come off. That is why this photo of Kennedy is so great....it's truly her!
